The Norwegian maple tree is a typical tree of the forests and mountains of the northern hemisphere. The height of the stem is in the average of 20 meters and, in some cases, can even exceed 30 meters. The trunk is slender and straight. Its foliage is nearly oval with the main branches that extend upwards and is often planted in cities because of its hight resistance to pollution and for its multicoloured autumn leaves.
